About Sweetest Moments

  1. Where is Sweetest Moments’ shop located?
    Our retail shop is located at 787A Upper Serangoon Road S534655. If you are driving to our place, look for the road "Hillside Drive". There are very few landmarks to guide you.

    • We are diagonally opposite the Singapore Crocodile Farm, or
    • We are 2 buildings away from Hougang Tau Mu Temple, or
    • At the end of the Upper Serangoon viaduct towards Hougang, turn left at the first traffic light.
    Upon reaching, we are just beside the "Greenland Vegetarian Restaurant". Parking is available at the private carpark directly behind our shop.

  2. How long has Sweetest Moments been around?
    We have been established since 2005. We count celebrities such as Ivy Lee, Huang Biren, Ben Yeo, Vivian Lai, James & Diana Lye, Cavin Soh, Darryl David and Lina Ng amongst our clients who have given positive feedback on our food and services. Read what they have to say about us for yourself!

  3. Is Sweetest Moments licensed to handle food?
    Yes, we hold a food license displayed at our shop front in accordance with the regulations set by NEA.

    For your greater assurance of our hygiene standards, we have attained a certificate in "Good in Cleanliness and Food Hygiene" from NEA.

  4. Is Sweetest Moments halal?
    Yes, we are a Halal-certified patisserie.

About the Ordering Process

  1. How many days in advance do I have to order?
    Please order 7 days (including Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays) in advance from the date of delivery / collection.

    If your order is less than 7 days, do give us a call at 6286 2553. We’ll see what we can do to help you. Where possible, we’ll try our best to accede to your request.

  2. What if I cannot confirm on the quantity 7 days before the date of delivery / collection?
    It will be good to first place your order with an estimated number, so that we can proceed to design the announcement cards for you to preview. Do remember to confirm the quantity 4 days before the date of delivery / collection.

  3. What is the minimum order?

    Full Month Packages & Wedding Packages:
    • A minimum order of 10 boxes is required.
    • A maximum number of 3 types of packages is allowed for each self-collection /delivery.

    For Purchase of Full Month Gift Vouchers Only:
    • A minimum order of 10 Gift Vouchers is required to personalise the babycard.
    • For orders less than 10 Gift Vouchers, the personalized babycard will not be provided.

  4. Are there any hidden costs?
    No, we absorb all GST charges, so there are no other hidden charges.

  5. Do we have to pay deposit?
    No deposit is needed.

  6. Any other things I need to take note of?
    Please ensure that you have read our terms & conditions.

  7. I have submitted the order online, so what do I do next?
    Please wait for our email to confirm the order within the next 48 hours. Please call us if you do not hear from us.

    After receiving our email confirmation from our sales team, please check the details are correct. There’s no need to reply us.

    You will later receive another email to preview the announcement card (except in cases where you have chosen the standard card). Do note that our design team does not work on the weekends, so if you submit your online order form and photos over the weekend, you will most likely receive the artwork by the end of the day on Monday. Do reply your email to approve the artwork!

About Delivery / Collection

  1. Do you deliver on Saturdays, Sundays & Public Holidays?
    Yes, we deliver on Mondays to Sundays, including Public Holidays.

  2. Can I arrange for delivery / collection on separate days?
    Sure, we highly encourage this so that you do not keep the packages overnight to distribute on the next day. Please try to give out the packages on the same day you collect the packages.

  3. When and what time can you deliver the packages or cupcakes / cakes?
    Our delivery time is between 10am to 1pm (available daily) and 2pm to 4pm (available daily except PH). We highly recommend that the packages or cupcakes / cakes are given out on the same day of delivery / collection.

  4. How do I know what time the packages or cupcakes / cakes will reach?
    Our delivery schedule is usually full, especially on the weekends. As such, we are unable to advise you on the time. Our drivers will endeavor to finish all their deliveries as early as possible. You may, on the day of delivery, call our office to check the estimated delivery time, however, we will not be able to accommodate to last minute requests on the delivery time as our drivers’ schedule are fixed.

    If you require the packages or cupcakes / cakes early, do consider self-collection as an option.

  5. I need the packages to reach the restaurant at 12.30pm as my function starts at 1pm. Can you send it at that time?
    Yes, you can request for a specific delivery time (within an hour’s range eg. Between 12pm to 1pm), subject to availability of time slots. There will be a surcharge of $10.

  6. Where and what time can I collect the packages, gift vouchers or cupcakes / cakes if I choose to self-collect?
    The collection time is between 10am to 5pm. An earlier collection time at 9.30am can be arranged upon request. Please note that the collection time is until 1pm on Public Holidays.

  7. When and how do I make payment for the packages or cupcakes / cakes?
    You may make payment upon delivery or collection by the following modes:
    • Cash
    • Cheque
    • NETS (at our shop)
    • Master / Visa credit card (at our shop)
    • Bank Funds Transfer
  8. Is there free delivery?
    Yes, there is a free delivery to one location for purchases of $200 nett & above, except for locations like Tuas, Jurong Island & Sentosa Island.

    Subsequent delivery locations may be subjected to a delivery charge of $15 per location.

About Full Month & Wedding Package

  • About our Giftboxes
    1. If we are having a baby boy, does it mean that we will be getting the blue box?
      Yes, we will prepare blue boxes for boys & pink boxes for girls.
      For wedding packages, the boxes come in pink.
      Do note that De Petit boxes come in only one design

    2. Can I customize my own message on the BabyCard & box cover?
      Sure, you are most welcome to create any message most suited to your needs.
      Do note that De Petit boxes cannot have any message on the box cover

    3. Will you provide plastic bags?
      Yes, we will provide some plastic bags for your convenience. However, do note that each giftbox has 2 ribbon handles at the sides for ease of carrying, so there is no need for plastic bags actually. Please help our environment.

      (Tips: Recycle the giftboxes as storage boxes for children’s accessories or toys.)

    4. Does each package come with an announcement card?
      Yes, each package comes with a complimentary announcement card

  • About our Food Items in the Packages
    1. How long can I keep the food items?
      There are no preservatives in all our food items. As such, we highly recommend that the packages are sent out to your recipients on the same day we send them to you.

      To ensure that our food is fresh, the box is specially affixed with a label of the date that it is packed.

      Note: For your convenience, you may separate the orders over a few days if required. We understand that you may not be able to finish distributing all in one day.

    2. Can we mix-and-match different types of packages?
      Yes, you may do so.

    3. Can we buy one package only to sample the food items?
      We do not sell one package. If you wish to sample our food items, you may visit our shop.
      We provide free sampling depending on the availability of the food items in our shop.

  • About our BabyCards &/or WeddingCards (Applicable to Gift Vouchers as well)
    1. Which design is suitable for my photo?
      We take the example of BabyCards. The concept is the same for WeddingCards.

      Browse through our gallery of BabyCards. They are approximately the size of namecards. You should choose the design based on whether your photo is a landscape or portrait.
      Eg. Princess 1 is suitable for landscape (horizontal) photos; Baby Boy 3 is suitable for portrait (vertical) photos.

    2. What are your photo requirements?
      We will need a full size original image taken directly from your digital camera. Please do not send us blurry or grainy photo. Your image should be at least 800x600 pixels at 300dpi to print out crisp and clear.

    3. How can I send my photo to you?
      For photo size of less than 500kb, attach it to the online order form and submit to us.

      If the photo size is larger than 500kb, please send it to design@sweetestmoments.com.sg with subject heading: [contact person] [baby’s name] [earliest delivery / collection date] or [contact person] [bride& groom’s name] [earliest delivery / collection date].

      If you are ordering a twin/triplet card that contains several photos, please rename the photo files in the order that you want. For eg. Photo 1 is [Left: Jayvier]; Photo 2 is [Middle: Jayden]; Photo 3 is [Right: Jayson].

    4. Can we put our Chinese name on the cards?
      Yes, please email the Chinese name to design@sweetestmoments.com.sg after you have submitted the online order form, with the subject heading: [contact person] [baby’s name] [earliest delivery / collection date] or [contact person] [bride& groom’s name] [earliest delivery / collection date].

    5. Can you remove the background/unwanted items/date on the photo?
      In most cases, we will just help you crop away the background/unwanted items/date on the photo. Sometimes, it’s not possible to do so without cropping off part of baby’s face or body parts. So, our best advice is to turn off the date stamp feature on your camera and make the background and setting simple.

    6. Can you edit my photo from colour to black and white or sepia? Or can you remove red spots or rashes on the face?
      Yes, we need your original high resolution colour files and we can do this for you. Please state in the remark section to request.



    7. I edited the photo myself, is it ok?
      Please do not crop the photo yourself. It is best if we have the original file from your camera. Feel free to send both the original file, and a cropped file so that we can see what you have in mind as far as cropping.

      We understand that sometimes you may like to add some effects around the photo, but if the photo size do not fit into our frame, we will crop some parts away.

      We understand that some customers like montage (combining a few photos together in one picture). However, as the actual card size is only around 9cm by 5.2cm, the baby’s face become too small to view on a montage.



    8. There are some information I do not wish to show on the card…
      Fill in only the details that you like to include on the card. If you leave the column blank, it’s assumed that you do not want to include the information in your card. Do note that some of the cards have no space for messages, so please make sure you look through our gallery.

    9. I would like to change the photo/design/text after receiving the artwork, can I?
      We will only provide one artwork for each baby / couple. Therefore, please send only 1 favourite photo to us. Discuss with your partner on the choice of design as well before placing the order. After receiving the artwork, you will only be able to make changes to the text. The revised artwork will be sent within 24 hours (usually on the same day).

    10. I am satisfied with the artwork draft.
      Once you are satisfied with the artwork draft, we just need an email stating that you approve the artwork for print. A simple “approved / confirmed” in your email will be fine. Note that once you have approved, changes may not be made. We often send out the files for print within an hour, or sometimes less, upon the receipt of approval. We do suggest that you look it over very carefully before you approve it for printing, as we cannot be responsible for any mistakes once it’s approved. It might be good to have a second set of eyes look over your artwork.

    11. Can I order more additional BabyCards or WeddingCards later?
      Yes, just email to our sales team at sales@sweetestmoments.com.sg to let us know. It will be $1 per piece.

    12. Can I order the BabyCard / WeddingCard in other special sizes?
      Yes, just email us to let us know. We will let you know the price.

    13. Can I buy a digital file and print the cards myself? Or can I have a bigger softcopy to email my friends?
      We are sorry, but we do not offer a print-yourself option at this time. Also, we do not provide higher-resolution or bigger softcopies for any purpose.

About Gift Vouchers

  • About our Gift Vouchers
    1. How does the Gift Voucher work?
      Basically, you purchase the Gift Voucher and give it to your friend (the recipient). Your friend can then redeem a Giftset using the voucher, as and when they like.

    2. Does each Gift Voucher come with a BabyCard?
      Yes, each Gift Voucher comes with a complimentary BabyCard, so long as the purchase is more than 10 Gift Vouchers.

    3. How long is the Gift Voucher valid for?
      The Gift Vouchers are valid for one year from the date of issuance.

    4. Can Sweetest Moments help me distribute the Gift Vouchers directly to my friends & relatives?
      We are sorry but we are unable to do so at the moment.
      For your convenience, the Gift Vouchers are already enclosed in a specially-designed envelope, which you can just mail out easily by just affixing a stamp and filling out the address.

    5. Can I buy a Gift Voucher on the spot at your shop?
      Yes, you can do so. However, we will not be able to provide any personalised babycards for purchases done on the spot.

      Nevetheless, there are provisions made for you to manually write your baby’s details & parents’ name on the specially-designed envelope, should you like to personalise the Gift Voucher still.

    6. I do not need the Gift Voucher, can I buy the Giftset on the spot at your shop?
      Yes, you can do so. Similarly, we are not able to provide any personalised babycards for purchases done on the spot.

  • About the Redemption
    1. How can a recipient redeem the Gift Voucher?
      They can choose the following options:
    2. Can the recipients change the food items for the Giftsets?
      We are sorry but the food items are fixed for the Giftsets.

    3. Does the recipient need to fill up the online redemption form if he wants to redeem the product at Sweetest Moments’ outlet?
      There’s no need to fill up the form. Just come down to our shop at 787A Upper Serangoon Road S534655 during our opening hours (9.30am to 5pm daily, except Public Holidays 9.30am to 1pm). Remember to bring the Gift Voucher along.

    4. What if a recipient was unable to produce the Gift Voucher when your delivery person sent the Giftset?
      We seek your understanding that we will not be able to pass the recipient the Giftset. Thus, it’s important that the recipient remembers to bring the Gift Voucher along!.

    5. For Gift Voucher redemption, can you deliver to other international addresses?
      We are sorry that the deliveries are only limited to Singapore only (except offshore islands other than Sentosa).

    6. After submitting the voucher redemption form, what do I do next?
      Please wait for our email within 48 hours to confirm the delivery of the Giftset.

About Cupcakes & Cakes

  • Sweetest Moments’ Cupcake
    1. How do I choose the type of cupcakes?
      There are 2 types of cupcakes to choose from:

      Mini Cupcakes (3.5cm in diameter)
      • Available in a box of 30 pcs or a box of 54 pcs.
      • Only available in our signature chocolate moist cake.
      • You can only choose from the different types of topping decorations, or the different themes available (eg. Mini Safari / Mini Princess). (Not possible to customise special designs due to constraint of space of the mini cupcakes.)
      • Personalisation of message is possible.
      • Ideal for little kids’ birthday celebrations in childcare, as buffet treats, for wedding receptions, mini cupcake tree centrepiece etc.

      Standard Cupcakes (5.5cm in diameter)
      • Available in a box of 10 pcs or a box of 20 pcs.
      • Choose between design-themed cupcakes or flavour-based cupcakes.
      • Design-themed cupcakes meant for celebrating baby showers, birthdays or weddings, the cupcakes are only available in our signature chocolate moist cake. Personalisation of message is possible. Customisation of special designs is possible.
      • Flavour-based cupcakes are available from our Signature range and they are ideal for company receptions, buffets etc. Personalisation of message is not possible.

    2. Other than the designs shown on the website, can I customise my own design?
      Yes, you can customise your own design on standard-size cupcakes. Please email us the designs you have in mind to enquiries@sweetestmoments.com.sg, so that we can give you a quotation.

    3. I do not require 30 pcs of the Mini Cupcakes? Can I order, say 25 Mini Cupcakes?
      We are sorry, but we only accept orders of Mini Cupcakes based on a box of 30s or 54s. Quantities in other denominations are not allowed.
      Similar for Standard Cupcakes, they must be in a box of 10s or 20s.

    4. Can I customise the colour theme, instead of the blue or pink theme?
      We are sorry that the colour theme is fixed.

    5. Is the personalization of message on the box or cupcakes?
      The personalization of message is on the cupcakes. We do not personalize any message on the box.

    6. How long can the personalized message be?

      Mini Cupcakes
      Each mini cupcake can only top with 1 alphabet. Therefore, just “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” alone will be 13 cupcakes, not yet considering for spaces between words.
      For a box of 30 Mini Cupcakes, we recommend using “HAPPY BDAY” instead.
      Do note that special characters like comma, full stop, apostrophe s, exclamation mark are not possible. Thus, message like “KEAGAN’S FULL MONTH” will be written as “KEAGAN FULL MONTH”. We will omit the apostrophe s.

      Standard Cupcakes
      For each box of Standard Cupcakes, up to 3 or 4 standard cupcakes will be used to write the personalized message, depending on how long they are. A message like “Happy Birthday Esther” will only take up 3 Standard Cupcakes. The rest will be the design-themed cupcakes.

    7. Can I order Signature Cupcakes but I wish to customize the design?
      For Signature Cupcakes, we will not be able to customize the colour and design of the cupcakes.

    8. Can I have my cupcakes in other flavours other than the chocolate moist cake?
      The only cupcakes available in other flavours are our Signature cupcakes. Those cupcakes where they are designed with a theme in mind are only available in our chocolate moist cake.

    9. How long can I keep the cupcakes?
      We recommend that the cupcakes be kept refrigerated whenever possible. Proper storage will allow the cupcakes to be kept for a slightly longer period. Typically, the cupcakes can be kept for a couple of days.

    10. Do you provide sampling of cupcakes?
      If you wish to sample our cupcakes, you may visit our shop. We provide free sampling depending on the availability of cupcakes in our shop.

      Please note that we do not sell cupcakes off the shelves. All orders have to be placed in advance and we bake-to-order.

  • Sweetest Moments’ Cakes
    1. Does Sweetest Moments do birthday cakes?
      Yes! We do cakes for birthdays, baby shower celebrations and even tiered cakes for weddings!

    2. Where can I view more cake designs?
      “Like” us on facebook at www.facebook.com/sweetest.moments.sg to view more cake designs not available on the website.

      Alternatively, you may visit our shop to take a look at cake designs not available online.

    3. Can I customise my own cake design?
      Sure, feel free to send us an image of the cake design you have in mind to enquiries@sweetestmoments.com.sg, so that we can give you a quote.
      Alternatively, if you wish to discuss with us on the cake design face-to-face, please let us know via email at enquiries@sweetestmoments.com.sg, so that we can arrange an appointment with you.

    4. I am choosing between the different designs of cakes that you have. What are the differences between the types of frosting on the cake?
      The design you like determines the type of frosting on the cake, thus here’s a general guide to let you understand the types of frosting further, so you can decide better on your cake.

      There are 3 types of frosting, namely, fresh cream, butter cream and fondant.
      • Fresh Cream
        The taste is refreshing & not sweet, so it’s a popular choice. However, the designs you can do with this type of frosting is limited, and this type of cake needs to be chilled at all times and cannot withstand our hot weather for long. Try to arrange for self-collection when you order this cake.

      • Butter Cream
        This version of cream is just slightly sweeter, and we have reduced the sugar level to the minimum possible. Butter cream allows more variations in design and it does not melt even in room temperatures. They are more ideal if you like fanciful designs and you need to display the cake for a few hours.

      • Fondant
        Fondant is actually sugar paste. They have a smooth finishing & can be molded into different designs. It is beautiful to look at & it keeps the cake moist. You have the most flexibility in design with this. However, it is sweet. It is common for guests to set aside the fondant & eat only the cake. A fondant-covered cake generally does not need refrigeration unless it contains perishable fillings, decorations etc.

    5. Can I put a picture on the cake?
      Yes, the picture can be printed on an icing sheet with food-grade edible ink. Be it a lovely photo of yourself or your child’s favourite character or a company logo, it is a unique way to personalize your own cake.

    6. What are the sizes of your cakes?
      Most of our cakes are available in 2 sizes: 6-inch or 10-inch in diameter, and taller at around 4 to 5-inches high.
      A 2-tier cake will be a 6-inch cake topped on a 10-inch cake.

    7. How many guests can a 6-inch / 10-inch cake serve?
      Generally, a 6-inch cake can serve approximately 6 to 15 pax; and a 10-inch cake can serve around 16 to 30 pax.

      The number of pax you can serve depends very much on how big a serving size you cut for each guest. Thus, the above is only an estimated guide.

      Another factor is the type of cake you have ordered:
      • If you have ordered a sponge cake, which is lighter and less filling, it will serve lesser pax.
      • If you have ordered a chocolate moist cake or butter pound cake or banana pound cake, which is heavier and more filling, it should serve more pax.

    8. What are the flavours available for the round cakes?
      We mainly specialise in chocolate-moist cakes. Other flavours include butter cake & banana cake.
      Sponge cakes are also available only in vanilla sponge and filled with peach slices. However, do note that sponge cakes are too light for fondant frosting.

    9. Must the cakes be stored in the refrigerator? How long can I put them outside?
      It is best to store the cakes in a refrigerator to maintain its freshness.
      Depending on the type of frosting, in an air-conditioned area, cakes with decorations on it can hold for approximately 6 - 7hours. At room temperature, it can hold for approximately 3 – 4 hours. Most importantly, please do not place the cakes under direct heat or sunlight.

Sweetest Moments’ Cupcake Tree

  1. What is a cupcake tree?
    A cupcake tree is a set of a round cake and cupcakes presented on a tier. The round cake caters to the cake-cutting ceremony and cupcakes save the hassle of cutting the cake to distribute around.

  2. What are the types of tiers availabled?
    • A 3-level white cardboard tier @ $5 (for one-time use only).
    • A 3-level acrylic tier for rent @ $10/day, with a refundable deposit of $50.
    • A 3-level acrylic tier (for 10-inch cake) for rent @ $20/day, with a refundable deposit of $70.
    • A 4-level acrylic tier for rent @ $20/day, with a refundable deposit of $70.
    • A 5-level acrylic tier for rent @ $20/day, with a refundable deposit of $70.

  3. How many cupcakes can the tiers fit?
    • A 3-level tier can accommodate a 6-inch cake and 40 standard cupcakes or 84 mini cupcakes.
    • A 4-level tier can accommodate a 6-inch cake and 60 - 70 standard cupcakes.
    • A 5-level tier can accommodate a 6-inch cake and 100 - 140 standard cupcakes.

  4. For tier rental, will you pick up the tier from us after use?
    We are sorry but you will have to return the tier to our shop. The deposit (minus the daily rental) will be refunded to you upon us receiving the tier in good condition.
